Band Vale FM is a Brazilian radio station, with concession in the municipality of Campos do Jordao, Sao Paulo and headquartered in Sao Jose dos Campos, Sao Paulo. Operates on 102.9 MHz on FM in Vale do Paraiba and on 98.5 MHz on FM on North Coast. It is a broadcaster that belongs to Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicaçao.
Band Vale FM was created in 1997 for the expansion of Rede Bandeirantes de Radio. The opening took place on January 31 on a special night for guests.
With investments of more than one million dollars, the most modern and powerful FM broadcaster arrived in the region, with a fully digital long-range transmitter, generating signals for more than 65 municipalities divided between Vale do Paraiba, Southern Minas Gerais and Southern Fluminense.
In March 2018, the broadcaster announced that it would also operate on the North Coast of Sao Paulo at 98.5 MHz (also belonging to the Bandeirantes group). The station has already housed Maresias FM and Nativa FM Litoral. After a schedule of expectation, officially on April 24, 2018 it started broadcasting along with Band Vale 102.9 MHz, the local programming started on May 2 with an edition of the midday newspaper. The launch cocktail brought together several authorities and the owner of the Bandeirantes Group from Vale do Paraiba on the same day of the re-transmission and with this formation, the Band Vale FM Network is inaugurated, expanding the coverage that was already extensive before the expansion, thus integrating, Vale do Para [iba and North Coast.
