Campusradio Karlsruhe Description:
Close to all campuses. Cross-media, not perfect and sometimes wild. Exclusive, authentic, by and for students! Campusradio Karlsruhe is a cross-media platform of the state universities in Karlsruhe. It sees itself as a medium of the community of learners and teachers at the university location in Karlsruhe and at the same time as an experimental field for dealing with new forms of media communication
The content is produced by students for students: everything that moves and interests them, everything related to life on campus and in Karlsruhe is conceived and created in a cross-university editorial office. They are guided and supported by experienced lecturers and editorial managers from the participating universities.
The campus radio broadcasts on the Karlsruhe FM frequency 104.8 MHz and via this internet stream. The online platform also offers multimedia contributions in the form of videos, podcasts, texts and images.
The project management for the Campusradio Karlsruhe lies with the ZAK | Center for Applied Cultural Studies and General Studies at KIT, funded by the Baden-Württemberg State Office for Communication.
